Install an eSIM on Android
Most Android phones from 2019 onward, running Android 9 or later
Menu names move around between manufacturers. If the wording below doesn't match your phone, search your settings for “SIM” — that will get you there.
Step by step
Connect to Wi-Fi before you start.
Open Settings, then Network & internet, then SIMs.
Tap Add SIM, then Download a SIM instead, then Next.
Scan the QR code from your order and confirm the download.
Once it finishes, set the Prime line as your mobile data line and turn roaming on for that line only.
Stay on Wi-Fi for the whole install. If the download fails halfway, reconnect and scan the same code again — the plan isn't consumed until it installs successfully.

The phone also has to be carrier-unlocked. If yours came from a network on contract, check with them first.
