Install an eSIM on Google Pixel
Pixel 3 or newer (Pixel 3 and 3 XL bought in Japan, Australia or Taiwan are excluded)
Pixels have the cleanest eSIM flow of any Android phone. The whole thing takes about a minute.
Step by step
Connect to Wi-Fi.
Open Settings, then Network & internet.
Tap SIMs, then the + button, then Download a SIM instead.
Scan the QR code from your order and wait for the download to finish.
Open the new Prime line and switch on Mobile data and Roaming for it.
Stay on Wi-Fi for the whole install. If the download fails halfway, reconnect and scan the same code again — the plan isn't consumed until it installs successfully.
Supported models
The phone also has to be carrier-unlocked. If yours came from a network on contract, check with them first.
